Account Officer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process payments and handle monthly disbursement of staff
  • Process sales invoices/delivery notes/receipts
  • Prepare payment vouchers/journal vouchers/bank reconciliations/reconciliation
  • Posting of AP invoices and claims in the system
  • Assist in preparation of various reports and analysis
  • Assist superior in various aspects of month end closing activities and any ad-hoc tasks
  • Ensure accounting records and systems comply with the company's policies, approved accounting standards

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Fresh Graduate also will be considered
  • Good command of written & spoken English
  • Knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage
  • Well versed in computer applications mainly Microsoft Excel
  • Must be meticulous with good analytical skills
  • Fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Possess own transport
  • Fresh graduates may be considered
  • Contract position(s) available.
