Finance Assistant Manager (Investment, TRX) #MSN

Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


1.Handling full set of accounting functions for the Company.

2.Maintaining of a proper and efficient general ledger including fixed assets, account payables and account receivables sub-ledgers.

3.Supervising daily cash flow and related activities for the Company.

4.Production of an accurate and timely month end closing reports.

5.Performing banks and key account reconciliations timely.

6.Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior/s from time to time.


Job Specifications:

a.Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.


b.Experience

•Minimum 5 years working experience in month end closing.

•Responsible for month end closing activities, reviewing, analysing transactions, general ledger accounts, intercompany and company expenditures.


c.Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

•Strong knowledge in management accounting and double entries.

•Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications – MS Excel (advance level)

•Knowledge/experience in Oracle Accounting system would be an added advantage.

•Good analytical, problem-solving skills and resourceful.

•Must be independent, initiative, and have high level of integrity.

•Result oriented and proactive.

•Organised and accurate.

•Team player with the ability to coach and educate others.
