Designation: General Ledger Team Leader
Location: Petaling Jaya
1 year Contract
Salary: Up to RM7.5k
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in General Ledger and financial reporting, with team lead or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of month-end closing, financial reporting, SAP, IFRS/MFRS, and balance sheet reconciliations
Good analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Job Scope:
- Lead General Ledger (GL) operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
- Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, tax computation, and audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Drive process improvements and support finance-related projects and ad-hoc tasks.
